Do I need to redesign Broc? Probably, but he was good practice for character modeling in Blender. Broc is the Broccoleep that the player finds after solving a few puzzles. His existence poses a few design questions like: should he follow the player after finding him? Will he help in fights? Hide during fights? Be a defense challenge in fights? Could his influence in fights be based on difficulty level? I'm not sure but I at least need to clean up his UV texture paint. I also still need to make his theme song play upon his entry. And make his theme song.
I made the bed model I was putting off for a while after getting exhausted of asset creation.
I then found a new detail to fixate on: parodying 90's television commercials. For world building. This isn't just any detail, it's a fun detail that brings magic to this world! Produce people have their own products (breakfast, toys, CDs) that need to be advertised on the interactive tv. Now the player can turn the tv on and watch a few silly commercial broadcasts that show more of this world.
Another detail to fixate on: filling Pump's fridge. The death investigation will inevitably allow players to see inside a fridge. What is it filled with? Leftovers and beer mostly.
